Lúcida Hecha a Mano es un performance de 30 minutos que existe en un escenario efímero de capas de imágenes en movimiento que son proyectadas e interactúan espontáneamente con sonidos controlados electrónicamente  a través de sensores de tecnología fácilmente disponible (Nintendo Wii, iPad, iPhone). El movimiento de las manos y el cuerpo producen ondas de luz y sonido en el espacio creando un juego de ping pong en el espectador, quien se mueve entre las acciones del que proyecta y las imágenes que son proyectadas estableciendo una nueva relación en la idea del performer en escena.

 

Este proyecto fue apoyado por el World Stage Design 2013, el Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia y el Colectivo Errabundas.

Hand Made Lúcid is a 30 minute happening that exists on an ephemeral stage of layers of images in motion projected in the space and interacting spontaneously with sampled sounds controlled electronically through sensors in easily available technology (e.g. Wii Remote, iPad, iPhone). The motion of hands and bodies as they experiment with waves of sound and light creates a kind of ‘Ping-Pong’ game for the audience as they move between performer actions at the projectors and the shadow images, all of which produces a new relationship in the idea of  ‘performers on a stage.’

 

This project was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, the WSD 2013 and Colectivo Errabundas.
